1、 Comparison Table of Core Testing Standards

Detecting dimensions Chinese Standard International/EU standards Core testing content
Electrical Safety (Low Voltage) GB 4943.1 EN 62368-1
UL 62368-1
1. Capacitor discharge (voltage<60V after unplugging for 1 second)
2. Current limiting circuit (no hazardous energy)
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) GB/T 17626 series IEC 61000-6-2/-4 Power frequency magnetic field immunity (near transformer), damping oscillation wave (simulating switch operation)
Environmental Reliability GB/T 2423 series IEC 60068-2 series Double 85 test (85 ℃/85% RH, simulating outdoor cabinet environment of photovoltaic power station)
Communication protocol consistency GB/T 34136 (Photovoltaic)
DL/T 645 (Electricity Meter)
IEC 61850 (Substation)
IEEE 2030.5
Modbus, MQTT, IEC 104 protocol message timing errors
Functional Safety (Software) GB/T 20438 IEC 61508 Watchdog reset failure simulation, stack overflow test
cybersecurity GB/T 22239 (Equal Protection) IEC 62443
EN 303 645
Port scanning, fuzz testing, denial of service attack simulation

2、 Stricter testing required for new energy scenarios (different from regular consumer electronics)

The testing standards for ordinary smart home terminals are not applicable here. Smart terminals in new energy environments must pass the following stricter requirements:

test project severity level Corresponding scene
Power frequency magnetic field immunity 30 A/m for 1 minute Communication box installed near the transformer room and inverter AC side.
Surge (impact) immunity Differential mode ± 2kV, common mode ± 4kV Photovoltaic array DC cable coupled with lightning induced waves.
Electrostatic discharge immunity Contact discharge ± 8kV, air discharge ± 15kV When the operation and maintenance personnel touch the RS485 interface or screen.
High Acceleration Life Test (HALT) -40 ℃~120 ℃ rapid temperature change random vibration Expose PCB solder joint cracks and crystal oscillator stop defects in advance.

3、 Network Security and Data Integrity (New Strong Regulatory Item)

This is the maximum detection increment that distinguishes intelligent terminals from traditional electrical equipment. According to GB/T 39786 (Network Security Protection of Power Monitoring Systems) and IEC 62443-4-2:

test item test method Judgment requirements
Identity authentication strength Violent cracking tool attempts to log in Prohibit the use of hard coded default passwords (admin/admin), with a failure lock time of ≥ 5 minutes.
Communication integrity Intermediary tampering with meter readings or power commands TLS 1.2 or above encryption, or the national security SM2/SM4 algorithm, must be enabled.
Firmware reverse protection Read Flash storage chip The firmware must be signed and verified, and the JTAG/SWD debugging interface must be physically disabled or fuse locked.
Remote Upgrade (OTA) Security Simulate issuing incorrect signatures or low-level firmware Reject downgrade attacks, enter security recovery mode after verification failure.

4、 Specific certification combinations corresponding to typical products

product form Domestic market access requirements International market access requirements
Photovoltaic module level shutdown/optimizer CQC Mark (GB/T 37410) Electromagnetic Compatibility UL 1741 PCS (North American rapid shutdown), EN 62109 (EU safety regulations)
Energy storage battery BMS control CQC logo (GB/T 34131) UL 60730 (North America) IEC 60730
Ordered charging station controller CCC certification (including telecommunications terminal functions) CE-RED (European Union Radio Directive)
Energy industry gateway (edge computing) Testing of DL/T 634.5101/5104 protocol by Electric Power Research Institute FCC Part 15B IEC 61850-10 Interoperability Test

5、 Recent Regulatory Trends Reminder (2025-2026)

  • State Grid/Southern Power Grid Enterprise Standard Upgrade: Intelligent fusion terminals connected to the distribution network are required to pass GB/T 28181 (Video Surveillance Security) or GB 35114 detection to prevent intrusion into the power grid dispatch system through camera ports.

  • EU RED Network Security Authorization Act: Starting from August 2025, smart terminals with wireless functionality exported to Europe must be accompanied by a Network Resilience Act (CRA) compliance statement for CE certification.
